Thank you for considering me to look after your beloved pup! I believe that the best behaved animals are those who have plenty of exercise and human contact which is why I love looking after dogs and helping them reach their full potential. Years ago I worked as a volunteer at the Coulee Region Humane society and saw dogs who were put up for adoption because of lack of time. Fortunately, now that lack of time can be filled by caring hands other than the animals owner. Well behaved and socialized dogs = happy humans. A little about me: My love for animals began as a 10-year-old child with my big rescue lab, Babe. As a teenager she inspired me to volunteer at the Coulee Region Humane Society. Now, 25 years and two dogs after that first lab, I am a certified 4-H volunteer and have the amazing opportunity of taking care of our family's dairy goats, chickens, cats, and our own dog, Basil, on our hobby farm. My primary job is an independent contractor and academic writer, which allows me the freedom and flexibility to add more animal time into my life. I am also currently working on earning my Dog Behavior and Training certificate.
