Pet care experience
Since I first began dressing up my childhood dog, Brandy, (the sweetest Chow-Chow you ever did meet) in outfits and accessories, I fell in love with dogs. Our family rescued and rehabilitated an injured German Shepherd, Duke, and seeing him regain use of his injured leg warmed my heart. We had Shepherds, Chows, Mutts and strays growing up-all dogs mean so much to me. I have watched or helped care for most of my friends pets over the years and have taken in hamsters, fish and kitties. I love all animals but dogs are my favorite. Their joy, empathy and loyalty move me to tears of happiness. Dogs run up to me to say hello and I always say, "Have we met before?" Dogs and I are old connected souls and I adore them so very much.

I would like to know their habits. Do they have anxiety? Any special needs or diets? Favorite toys or people? I have always been madly in love with Retrievers and Shepherds but in recent years have come to love smaller breeds too as I am surrounded by them in my friends lives. I once got to spend some time walking and playing with a Saint Bernard and he was the sweetest thing. I live for the huge dogs who don't understand they aren't lap dogs and just want to plop on you! They're my favorite!!
A typical day
I would love to take dogs to the dog park if that is a wish as an owner. I want to combine my love of long-walks and caring for your precious dogs; exercising for me and for your pup. Frisbee? Let's do it! Dog beach? Let's go! If your dog loves any other particular activity I would be more than willing to make them happy and enjoy their favorite place or activity.
