Pet care experience
My dream has long been to buy a property with lots of land so I could fill it with animals. Last year I finally got the property, and now can fill it with what I love most - animals! I have 6.5 acres, almost all fenced, with a separate “dog lot” off the back of my house. My current herd includes a 1 year old male, neutered, chocolate-lab named Moose, a 2 year old, spayed, boxer named Kizzy, and two full-sized Donkeys, Ralph (6) and Leroy (4). I have a 4 year old son, Harrison who also treats animals as part of our family. A baby gate separates his room from the rest of the house so that toys are kept out of reach for our fur-babies.

Lauren was a great host and I felt like she treated my dog as part of her family. Nice to great regular updates while we were on our trip. Definitely recommend and plan to use her again!
Lauren and her family were GREAT! I was not able to do a meet and greet ahead of time due to an emergency but my dog fit in like home right away. I received multiple pictures daily and even videos of my dog playing with the donkeys on the fence line. They had to keep our dog for an extended period of time and my dog came home normal and happy. She got along great with their dogs and you could really tell Lauren and her family treated our dog like one of their own. One of my best experiences so far on rover. Thank you Lauren and family!
Sammy had so much fun staying with Lauren and her family! Lauren was absolutely fantastic - so warm and welcoming - sending many wonderful photos and keeping me updated on Sammy's activities. He had a great time playing with Moose and Kizzy - he's been absolutely exhausted since he got home! He can't wait to go back!

We love throwing the ball in the backyard - it’s the only way to get out all of their energy! My office is our sunroom that overlooks the backyard; our friends get a lot of outside supervised play time while I work from home.
