Having grown up with dogs since birth, I can't remember a time in my life without a fur family. Have always had 2+ family dogs of a variety of breeds and sizes (high energy german short-hairs, german shepherds, black labs, Italian sheepdogs, standard/toy poodles, mutts, etc.) at all times up until recent years. I know that not every dog is the same, what they want and require will always vary based on temperament, breed, and environment. I've had dogs with separation anxiety, resource guarding and herding mentalities, none of which can be addressed in the same manner -- however, they can always be managed with customized care solutions. Currently, I have a 95 lb Great Pyrenees (mix) that I adopted from Austin Animal Center. He just so happens to be a "dog therapist." I've had hoards of people tell me their dogs never took to other dogs, playing, socializing, etc. due to trauma, etc. until they met Chief -- he's a total stud and king of chill that rubs off on everyone! Whether you're traveling for work, on vacation, or can't make it home for a while - my goal is to make sure your fur-baby is just as comfortable and happy with Chief and I as they are when they're at home with you.
