Hi, I'm LT! I have experience working with mixed-breeds, little chi-poos to pitbull puppies and boxers and everything in between. If your dog is high energy, I would love to take them on a run or jog around the block and play games outside. If your pup likes to play with other dogs, we can go to the dog park. I have worked with dogs of all ages and have volunteered in shelters, and I understand how to accommodate high-energy or sensitive pups. I do home visits and dog walks, and the occasional home stay. Currently my partner and I have a male American Akita who does not get along with most dogs, so I do not introduce him to my clients (and their dogs) as a rule. This is also why I do not do boarding. However, I would love to stay in your home (without my dog) if and when you need someone there! I am a RYT-500 certified yoga instructor new to Denver area. I am teaching part-time for several studios in the area, which means I do not work a traditional 8-5 schedule. This gives me a lot of flexibility to meet you and your pupper's needs, and I will do anything it takes to make sure your pup has fun, stays safe, and remains as relaxed as possible while you are away. I typically work in the mornings and early afternoon until 2 PM, but I am super flexible and can squeeze in walks on most days of the week, in between meetings, etc. Because of his breed, my dog requires a lot of structure. He is only allowed on furniture when invited, and is not allowed to bark at strangers. He has spent several weeks in doggy boot camp, and we try to maintain the work that he/we put in there. We do frequent "trainings" while on walks or in unfamiliar settings (like parking lots or Home Depot). In client's homes, I will always abide by the rules of the household. I like to remain calm, to help the animals be calm as well. Every dog is different, and every dog requires different rules, and so each animal will be cared for according to their unique needs. However on walks, I like to err on the side of structure for safety reasons. I do not tolerate pulling and will work patiently with your dog to help them relax and learn friendly walking etiquette.
