Pet care experience
I provide continuous care and attention to all dogs in my care. I am currently going to school at UofR for nursing. I had a dog briefly who I trained myself and almost quit school to become a professional dog trainer. While your dog is in my care you will get many updates as to what we are doing and how the day goes. My current dog Georgia has come a long way since getting her, we work on short fun training sessions daily so would be delighted to do some with your dog as well. we take a long walk in the morning, romps in the back yard and another long walk in the evening. I have a slight addiction to buying dog toys so throw the ball around or play tug in the house if it’s gross out. I really love dogs

Brioche LOVED playing with Georgia! He can be a lot of energy, but Lauren knew how to give him the right outlets so he could chill out. In fact he came home and totally crashed out with exhaution. Lauren was very laid back, flexible with scheduling, eager to love on our pup. We will definitely work with her again!
Lauren was great! She took lots of pictures and took my pup on runs, hikes and even to the coast. She has a flexible schedule and I'd recommend her to anyone.
Lauren was great! Jungé got lots of love, play, and attention during his stay. She was also very understanding and cooperating throughout the stay and good with communication. I'd definitely recommend her for your dog boarding needs.

I have a cat whose pretty chill, he’s a kitten. If your dog isn’t into cats, Ozzie can just be in his room. If I have to leave for any reason we can discuss how your dog does, and I can accommodate their needs.

Let me know if your dog has separation anxiety or if there’s any food restrictions. I use treats during the day for Georgia for our little training seasons and could include your dog as well.
A typical day
Typical day is wake up - coffee for me and breakfast for Georgia - than we go outside. With the current weather we might only do 30 mins but when it’s warmer maybe an hour depending. I come in an do some school work till noonish and we go back out side to the yard to throw the ball. If the weather isn’t allowing a long time we play with toys in the house. I do more school work. Evening is breakfast and we do a long walk or throw the ball - again depends on the weather. We got into playing hide and go seek some nights when it’s been too cold to go out. So she has to find me and I piece out her dinner that way. It’s fun.

Availability
I was using rover back home (Portland or) before moving here. I got back on because Georgia needs friends. I’m on here to find her more friends. The one caveat is that she needs slow introductions. She’s a little intense at first so I found that meeting at a distance and not right in the face works the best. Her ideal playmate is big confident dogs who don’t mind little dog energy. I am home quite a lot studying and when the weather is nicer we sit in my backyard while I read, throw the ball, and hang out. There’s tons of room back there.
