I've had dogs all of my life and worked in the Veterinary field for 7 years. I have cared for the pets of friends, family and clients while they've been on long trips, or for just a day or two. I'm experienced in giving medications and prescription diets for both dogs and cats, and love pets of all sizes and breeds. I currently have 2 senior cats that I've had since they were kittens that are on medication and need a special diet.

Lauren came to meet my cat 4 times before my actual booking so my cat could become familiar with her. Lauren arrived promptly for every visit and we worked together to find the best plan for helping my cat get the medications she needed. She also took photos and gave me feedback after each of her visits which was very reassuring. I’m looking forward to Lauren’s next scheduled visit!
Lauren took care of my old dog, my young dog, and my middle-aged cat. She was prompt, reliable, thorough and kind. There are plenty of animal loving pet-sitters, but I have not found many with all these qualities. What a relief to find Lauren!
10 Star Lauren was amazing, beyond our wildest expectations. Saturday afternoon was very difficult traveling, of course it snows as soon as you go away, our 300’ driveway was impossible so she walked to our house from the road. She took care of our cat Auggie as if it was hers, even making sure he got his insulin shot. I think Auggie was disappointed that we walked in the door and not Lauren. We will definitely use Lauren again. Thank you so very much Lauren, you’re the best of the best. Tim & Doreen

I treat all clients' pets as if they were my own, and all clients' homes as if they were my own. I know that it can be stressful leaving your pet at home and I do all that I can to ensure clients' minds are at ease knowing their pet is in my care. I require a pre-booking meeting where I have a standard list of questions to make sure all elements of your pet's care are covered and I know what to do in case of an emergency.

I like to know the pet's typical schedule at minimum, including feeding times, walking times and any other special activities that they are used to on a regular basis so I can match their routine as much as possible. I also need to know about any medications, special diets, allergies or past injuries/chronic conditions that they have. I also like to know if there are any walking routes that the dog particularly liked or that I should avoid.
A typical day
Especially when your dog is left at home, he/she needs mental and physical activity during each visit. I will take them on walks, and play with them using the toys they love.

Availability
I currently work full time 8:30am-4:30pm but am available anytime outside of that window on weekdays and am fully available on weekends. I have additional flexibility on Mondays and Wednesdays when I work from home depending on the distance to a client's home.
