Pet care experience
Lauren has had cats for many years since she was a child and loved taking care of them. She fostered kittens in grad school and fell in a love with one whom she’s adopted name Lulu. Beth has had dogs of her own since Elementary school. She currently has a 5 year old mix breed rescue who does have medical needs. So she is not afraid of taking care of dogs with extra needs. Beth and Gretel have been together since she rescued her back in 2019. Now we all live together 2 cats and 1 dog with a fenced yard.

We have a large fenced in back year with lots of room to run and also a sweet 5 year old pup named Gretel. Gretel is the sweetest dog you’ll meet and loves to make new friends whenever she can! So your pup will have a playmate as long as they get along of course :)

Information Lauren S. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to know a dogs temperament. Since we have a pup, we think it’s important to know how other dogs interact with other animals as well as people so we know what to look out for. For example our pup is very friendly with everyone but we know not everyone is friendly with her so we are very aware of others and how they begin to approach. If one of us is walking our dog and another person is walking their dog coming towards us, we can tell if the dog and owner are open to the interaction so we can let my pup interact and we always ask the owner if that’s ok.
A typical day
We love taking our dog around the neighborhood as well as the local dog park at point defiance. It’s the perfect way to socialize and get their energy out :)

Availability
Beth currently is on the job hunt and is free at all time. Lauren works from home and take multiple breaks throughout the day to walks our own dog as well as let her out in our fenced backyard to play! Lauren’s favorite part of the day is taking breaks because not only does she get to play with/take care of the pets but she gets to spend time with them and make sure they have everything they need!
