Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs for over 15 years. I have experience with all different aged dogs from newborn litters to the elderly. I live an active lifestyle and love taking the pooches for hikes or a run. I have experience taking care of new litters, and have great basic training rules. I understand the sport dog collar if needed. I prefer taking dogs for hikes ! I have 2 sweet dogs of my own that goes with me everywhere, Baloo is a malamute mix who is 5 years old and incredibly gentle and independent. Birdie is 1.5 year old poodle husky mix and can RUN, she is higher energy but sweet, submissive and likes snuggles. I work from home full time during the week which provides maximum flexibility.

I am admittedly Lauren’s roommate but am therefore also privy to her treatment of her own dog and others she often cares for. I cannot speak highly enough of her dedication to their wellbeing. Amid a busy personal schedule, she puts her dogs’ interest above her own by ensuring he is walked at least 3 times a day, fed regularly, groomed, has his teeth maintained, and is loved possibly more than he would like. Haha. I would not only trust Lauren with a dog of my own but honestly believe she would take better care of it than I ever could.
I have known Lauren for over 5 years now and, even before getting a dog of her own, she has always been the most loving, compassionate, caregiver of animals! Recently I got a dog of my own and she has been the absolute best in teaching me all of the things! She is so patient, kind, and knowledgeable- it is amazing. Her dog, whom she calls her son, is literally the best behaved dog I have ever met, all with her training. She is truly passionate about dogs and caring for them.

During the work week I take the dogs for a walk 3 times between 7 am- 3pm, where they will also have use of the large fenced yard while I work. After work I do a long walk, run or a hike. Weekends I hike or ski with the dogs! They go with me everywhere

A typical day
We love hiking! Going for river swims, and skiing if your dog is used to this. Good recall needed for being off leash! When I’m not working we enjoy spending most of our time outside, with snuggles at night. Dogs are always allowed on my furniture and bed and receive lots of affection or space, depending what the prefer.

I work full time remotely Mon- Fri from 7am-3pm which provides great flexibility and time tk adventure after work! Weekend availability so long as enough notice is given.
