Pet care experience
I love dogs and have been a dog sitter for friends and family for many years. I have a 1.5 yr old mini dachshund, Gwennie, and she loves other dogs! I also have a 6 month old mini dachshund, Georgia. They are very friendly and playful and love other dogs, although Gwennie can sometimes be scared of larger dogs. happy to host dogs of all ages Gwennie loves other dogs and looking forward to getting her, and your dog, some playtime and exercise! Of note, Gwennie is not spayed yet so I cannot watch male dogs that have not been neutered. My apartment is on the smaller side but I have a large fenced in back patio with grass and I also take regular walks. There's plenty of space for the doggies to run around. **update**- I am getting another mini dachshund on august 7th (it's Gwennie's real sister!)- she will be 10 weeks old and about 2 pounds. I will still be doing Rover but will need to stick to small dogs 20 pounds or less for awhile and will need to do meet and greets for the 15-20 pound range to make sure all the doggies get along :) I'm a researcher and currently work full time from home. I'm able to supervise the dogs completely while working. My schedule is very flexible. Regular day care times would be ideal -willing to discuss a discount for regular visits. Last minute requests welcome. My fenced in patio is large and mostly covered with grass so puppies and all age dogs can go out with ease. Grass cleaned frequently. Fence is private 6 ft so a great spot for your dog to sunbath and relax if they are into that! (Mine is). There's no holes or slats in the fence so it's not possible for them to get out. there's no breakables around or anything for them to get hurt :)

Lauren is wonderful. She’s been a great communicator and flexible which I appreciate so much. We’ve used her for daycare and Milly had fun with her two pups. I recommend her and will be using her for more daycare and boarding.

Lauren was great sitter for my dog, Tofu. It was Tofu's first time away from me with someone new (versus at a friend's place) and Lauren was super understanding about his potential separation anxiety. We did a home visit for Tofu to meet Lauren and her pup which made me feel at ease. She was also super communicative throughout the entire process and even allowed me to shift up drop off time by an hour when my schedule changed! Although my dog cried, he still played with her pup a bit which is a huge amount of progress. Thank you Lauren for being so amazing with my pup!

Gwennie loves fetch with her squeak toys so we like to throw them around with other dogs too. We also like to have intermittent dance parties. I'm surrounded by a lot of neighborhoods for long walks too if needed
