Hello Pet Lovers! My name is Lauren and welcome to The Ruff Life Hotel! I recently relocated my pet sitting services from San Antonio to DFW. I live in a lovely apartment home located in Grand Prairie, TX. I am flexible and service the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. My complex is a large area surrounded by neighborhoods, perfect for dog walking. Your doggies feel more comfortable at home? No problem, I can come to you. :) I have been caring for animals for over 25 years and have been pet sitting on Rover since 2016. I welcome all dog breeds and small critters. Sorry, no cats allowed. *Note: I do have a crate policy for my place. I am not home all the time and require all doggies to be crated for the few hours I'm gone. I do have a medium size crate, but feel free to provide your own if you like. I am currently teleworking 50% of the time and often home during business hours. Don't worry, your doggy will get plenty of playtime, walks in the neighborhood, and lots of room to run around. I am more than happy to do house sitting so the animal is more comfortable. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!! :)

Lauren did a FABULOUS job taking care of our Hank!! She was very informative, took him for plenty of walks, & sent all kinds of pictures/updates! We had a few minor issues we had to ask Lauren for help with after we left town. Lauren assisted without hesitation! She is the best!!! I recommend her 10/10 we will be repeat customers for sure!!

I provide daily walks for each vacation day. Please note, I do live on the third floor so exercise is an understatement. This won't be an ideal fit for animals with mobility issues.

I am a state employee working 50% of the time at home. I am completely open on weekends and holidays. My main preferences are house-sitting, boarding, and dog walking.
