As a full time nanny in Seattle I had two charges- a little boy named "S" and a french bulldog/Boston terrier mix named Wyatt. Wyatt became my sidekick. Wyatt is a delicate flower that needed lots of daily care- meds, walks, cuddles, dietary restrictions. My bosses and I often joke that Wyatt needed more attention at times than S did. It was because of Wyatt that I adopted my own Boston terrier and really fell in love with dogs. I currently do not have my own dog but love to care for others. I work from home and have a highly flexible job. I love the companionship as well. I have a 5 year old child who would mostly be at school/summer camp during care. She is very good with dogs and knows how to be gentle and give them lots of space. We live in a nice home with a decent sized fence yard, up the street from a lake that is great for dog walking.
