Hello, fellow dog owners! My name is Lauren and I would love to care for your companion. I have a nice three bedroom apartment where I can give your beloved pet lots of attention. Being physicly active is important to me so you can be assured your dog will get at least two walks a day if staying with me unless other wise instructed. I currently own one small dog, Chaplin, who is great with other dogs, has all of his shots, and is neutered. I do have three children, two of whom will be off to school for most of the day and are all comfortable around dogs. My love for dogs and all animals originates from when I was young. I was raised on a farm where I cared for a plethora of animals including dogs, cats, goats, ducks, horses, and cows. In high school, I volunteered at a veterinary office for 6 months. I cleaned kennels, cared for the animals while in recovery and observed medical examinations. Since moving to California I worked at a Dog Resort for two years. There I helped care for up to 150 dogs, from tiny chihuahuas to very large great danes, delivering feedings, medication, and potty breaks. As well as cleaning kennels, bathing dogs, and providing emotional comfort. I decided to stop working when I was 7 months pregnant with my youngest child. Now that my kids are getting older and we have a dog of our own I feel like dog sitting would be a great way to make an extra income and as well as helping my community.
