Pet care experience
I have taken care of my rabbit since I was 18 years old and she is now 7 years old. I have two rabbits now that I am responsible for so I can watch exotic animals as well. I work at a pet hospital full time whenever I’m not dog sitting which has taught me how to care and handle properly any dog or cat, how to give medication and look out for any sick or stressed symptoms in order to help your pet in the best way possible. I love all animals no matter the size or breed and love buying them a special toy or treat at the end of my time with them so they have something to remember our time together while parents are away.

Lauren is a very caring and loving person and always has been. She has two rabbits of her own and a great caregiver of them both. She has cared for other pets of co-workers and friends with great success. The animals seem to take to her naturally and she takes the time to gain their trust, so they feel comfortable with her. She would be a great addition to Rover.

I like to follow your pets routine that they know and I like to stay at the clients home so that way your companion doesn’t feel stressed out going to a new environment. I have no problem with dropping them off at a day care if they go to one. I can also administer any medication that is needed and follow their diet to your standards.

It is important for me to know when they eat, when they go on walks and if they have any medications that they need to take. I also would like to know if any dietary restrictions and which hospital your companion goes too in case of an emergency.
A typical day
I love to do whatever your dog or cat loves to do. So if it is taking 30 minute walks and going to the dog park every other day, wonderful! If it is playing fetch in the yard every evening, I’m your girl! If it is cuddling up and watching a movie (my favorite thing too) we can totally do that. I love spending any time with your furry friend with whatever they love to do.

Availability
I currently work at a pet hospital but have 3 days off a week. So, those three days I would spend extra time with your pet and do fun activities that they would like. On the days that I work my partner Langston can go and check up on your pet if needed and you can meet both of us before scheduling us to watch your furry friend! I make sure to do whatever routine they need in the morning before I go to work and after when I get home.
