Hey! I’m Lauren and I’ve been around animals since before I could walk. From dogs and cats to rabbits, tortoises, and horses, I have always loved animals and I feel happiest when I’m with them! I’m honest, kind, reliable, and genuine, and I know your dog and I will have a great time together :) I always try to be flexible and accommodating to your circumstances, because I know you have a busy life and you want the best care for your pet. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality so that I can have fun with them in the way they like best! My home is clean, comfortable, and big enough for zoomies. My golden boy Teddy LOVES friends of all sizes and ages, but if your dog is a little more shy, they can easily be kept separate :) If you/your pet have needs that aren’t mentioned, or if you have concerns of any kind, please reach out!! I have a partially fenced yard (hopefully getting it fully fenced soon!) and a safe, friendly neighborhood to take walks in. There are also several great dog parks nearby that I frequent with my golden Teddy! He loves a playmate, but is well-trained and understands that not everyone wants to be best friends. I always try to mimic what is regular and comfortable for your dog to ease the transition for them and keep them happy until you’re home :)

I just want to know how you normally care for your pup so that I can love them (almost) like you do! Things like... •their activity level (how many walks, how long for outside play time, etc.) •how they handle being home alone (do they chew or scratch at furniture, are there any comfort measures that are helpful, etc.) •their eating schedule •how often they need to go out •commands that they’re used to/training you’d like me to keep up •any allergies (food, environmental, etc.) •toys or activities they love and hate ...all the good stuff! You know them better than anyone, so share what you think would be helpful. The more info the better :)
A typical day
I like hiking as much as I like sitting on the couch with some netflix, so I can be flexible based on your dog’s energy level! Or we can spend time in the yard or in front of a sunny window if that’s more their style :)
