Dog loving WFH worker with plenty of free time
Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Lauren; I’m from Devon but working in Edinburgh. I recently lost my 15 year old Black Lab, Ruby, and am looking to look after some other dogs. I have a car so I can take your dog for longer walks if needed. I currently work from home so would be free most days and can be very flexible. With experience in babysitting and dog care, I would give a very good service and would look after your dog as if it were my own. Ruby was my dog from when I was 5 until recently. She was a well-loved, excitable companion, who I loved dearly. Sadly we lost her in covid and due to work travel commitments I have not been in a place to commit full time to a pet of my own (I am currently saving and working towards this goal, which will hopefully be soon!) I would be happy to set up a regular plan if that would be something you were interest in. I look forward to hearing from you, Lauren

Lauren was fantastic with Shelly from the first minute we stepped into her house. She’s very friendly and made me feel at ease. Shelly is an energetic dog that needs a bit of attention and he definitely got that from Lauren, he came back home happy & relaxed. I will feel 100% confident leaving him with Lauren next time :)
Lauren loves dogs and dogs love Lauren. She has a wealth of experience with dogs not least growing up with our own black lab., caring for her, walking her and playing with her. She's always been around friends and family dogs and those that came with her aunt's dog sitting business.

A typical day
My flatmate and I are both from Devon and so love to walk around the pentlands and local beaches to remind us of home. I also love to make mentally stimulating treats and games with the dogs I look after (such as lick matts and hide and seek games) to make sure they are having fun throughout their stay.

Availability
I currently work from home (with the occasional work trip that I have to travel for) so can be very flexible with dog care. I will be in the flat all day and live a stones throw from bruntsfield links so am happy to take regular short breaks throughout the day to accommodate any needs your dog may have.
