I love dogs, most of the time more than humans. :) I have grown up with dogs and have been around them for as long as I can remember. Over the summer, my husband and I adopted our Cattle Dog/Boxer/Great Pyrenees/Boykin Spaniel/ Whippet mix, Sam. So I have very recently gone through the potty training and training phases and am comfortable with dealing with issues that arise from either. Sam is our baby! He is the top priority in our household (as my husband likes to joke about ALL of the time). We take him everywhere we can with us and we have begun to plan vacations and day trips centered on being able to bring him along. I would make your pup a top priority as well, I think all dogs deserve the best care possible! In the past year or so, my Mom's elderly dog has taken very ill. I have watched her multiple times over extended periods of time. While watching her, I have administered special food and medication to her in specific amounts, during specific times of the day. Some strengths of mine are organization and planning, which help me to excel at managing the healthcare of dogs. I could administer medication and/or a special diet to your pup. I love to play with doggies and am very active myself. I take Sam on at least one 1 hour walk everyday. And he loves to play fetch and tug of war. Sam also really enjoys learning, so my husband and I have taught him many tricks. I would be happy to assist in training your pup and giving him tons of exercise! I am a high school science teacher, so I have the entire summer, spring break, and winter break completely free! At those points in the year, I am free weekdays and weekends at anytime. And during the rest of the year, I am free week nights and anytime on the weekends. I would love to take care of your pup!
