I moved to Atlanta about five years ago after 16 years in New York City for a fellowship at Georgia Tech, and I've fallen in love. Me and my pit bull Rolfie live in Midtown and are loving how much it feels like Brooklyn, only greener and with bigger yards. I grew up with miniature dachsunds, but I really got to know dogs and their cues when I rescued a pit bull from the shelter where I was a volunteer dog walker six years ago. I've cared for older, special-needs dogs and feisty high-energy dogs as well as my own. I respect owners' *and* doggies' boundaries, and I know basic training techniques and operant conditioning. I can't wait to get to know you and your fur kids.
