Pet care experience
**Please keep in mind, Rover keeps 20% of our daily rates.** My husband and I adopted our dog together, Penny, two years ago and so we are experienced in the high energy of young dogs, but we are welcoming to those old souls too. Penny gets along with small and big dogs as she is a medium size. We enjoy caring for many of our repeat dogs and meeting new dogs too!

Lauren and Matthew kept my golden retriever Willie for 3 weeks while visiting my cat Maggie daily to feed and play with. This was the first time leaving them with anyone and wondered how it would affect them. I don't think Willie even knew I was gone and came home stress free. I know Matt spent time befriending the cat and sent text and videos to put the guilty Dad at ease. If you can't bring them with you, leave them with people who really love pets. Matt and Lauren get the highest recommendation.
Balu had excellent time at Laurena and Matthew place. They took good care of him and regularly updated us with photos. Penny was also very friendly and playful. I will definitely use their service next time.
Lauren and Matt are phenomenal with dogs! They've watched our two golden retrievers on several occasions, and we have complete confidence they get the care, love, and attention they need. Lauren and Matt also have a dog, Penny, who makes a wonderfully playful companion for our pups! 10/10, would recommend!

We have a private fenced in yard with both shade and sun, we keep an eye on our dog and others when they are outside. If your dog needs to be crated, we can do that. My husband and I walk Penny daily, so your dog will join us if that is what you'd like! We look forward to watching your fur baby and giving Penny some four-legged friend company!

Information Lauren & Matthew V. would like to know about your pet
Unfortunately, pit bull breeds are not a good fit with Penny, as experienced in dog parks. Let me know if your dog has any special circumstances to account for, how they are with other dogs, if they are okay to leave in the house unattended. We will only take one family's dog at a time, but if a family has 2 dogs, we may take both dogs as long as they are compatible with Penny. For longer stays, we may request a meet and greet with our dog ahead of time to ensure compatibility and a stress-free stay for your pup!
A typical day
Your dog will have smells galore when we take them on walks through our neighborhood! We also have a large enough fenced in yard for your dog to run around with ours and play! We often throw the ball and frisbee for Penny. There will be time to rest as well while my husband is taking calls for work.

Availability
My husband works from home most of the time and I work in the schools, so I am home by 3pm every day and am off during summers. He will have scheduled client calls through the day when working from home and the house will need to be quiet and calm, but we have plenty of attention to give and time to play with your pup! We are open to boarding and daycare through weekdays and weekends but you must be okay with start and end of day drop off/pick up times as my husband has important client meetings throughout the day.
