We had only had our dog 6 weeks when we were headed out of town. Since we got her from the Humane Society, I did not want her to go to a traditional kennel. Lauren was very good with her. She followed my instructions to make our dogs stay more comfortable and and showed her lots of love. We got a few texts and pictures from Lauren, which helped us to know our dog was ...
Lauren was great. She was very flexible and responsive. She also provided pictures and updates during our dogs' stay. We will definitely use Lauren again. So nice to know your "children" are in good hands when you can't be with them.
We were very greatful for the updates and photos while we were away! Lauren treated our dog very well - she gave him a lot of attention and took him to the park, the farmers market and so much more. We would definitely recommend her to others.
You're away, dogs will play!
As a self-proclaimed dog whisperer, you can trust that your dog(s) will be in good and compassionate hands. I grew up with dogs (two dachshunds) and often dog-sit for friends and family (in our family there is a Shih Tzu, Black Lab-Whippet and poodle). Even as a kid I was responsible for bathing my dogs and clipping nails, taking them for walks and, later, taking them to the vet when needed.

What Lauren would like to know about your dog
Before sitting I would like to know about any health issues a dog has. Knowing about the dog's behavior can be helpful when taking the dog out for walks or exercise (ie, can the dog be around other dogs, people or children? Would going to an off-leash dog park be appropriate? Does the dog prefer not to be touched or picked up?). I once sat for a dog who frequently jumped the yard's fence but always returned to their home... but I was not told this before sitting! It was a non-issue, but knowing information like that would be helpful.
