Pet care experience
I grew up in Manhattan Beach, CA but recently moved to Utah and I am so happy to be here! I got my first dog, a golden retriever named Sage at the age of three. I quickly learned why they're called "man's best friend", because she was absolutely mine (as well as the favorite sibling compared to my sister and I). I now have 3 cats and one dog, and my life is absolutely more joyful because of them! Through taking care of animals, I have seen what it means to be a good friend and companion and I am on Rover to be able to love your pets like my own while you are at work or on vacation and keep them happy and comfortable until you get home. Lauren watched our fur babies and our home while we were away. She has absolutely hit her calling with animals. I could tell by the love and calmness in the daily photos she sent to us that there was no need for concern or worry. We could just enjoy our time away while she was keeping everyone safe.
All you need to do is meet Lauren and you will instantly know that you and your pet are in good hands! Giving the best service possible is just who Lauren is. She has cared for our guinea pig, dogs, cats, etc. Hands down, Lauren is who you want when it comes time to entrust your pet (aka:family member, friend) with someone who will care about/for your pet as much as you do!
When we leave on vacation, we leave our 9 year old Terrier with Lauren. We trust her and know Oliver will be taken good care of and loved. She has made it possible for us to enjoy ourselves much more when we are away from home.
Lauren took such good care of my kitties! I was able to be in Hawaii for two weeks and not worry about them once. I can always tell the type of care they get by how they act when I come home, and when I got home they were calm and super content. I could tell they were loved well by Lauren! She took such great pictures too. Lauren definitely loves animals as if they are her own, which is why I continue to hire her every time I leave. Cannot recommend her care enough!

I take your animal's care very seriously, so I will do whatever I can to make sure you and your furry friends feel comfortable while you are away! I make sure that the water and food bowls are cleaned often and that the animals are given lots of love and attention! I love seeing your animals' personality come out during play, and its super satisfying seeing them start with lots of energy and then get tired after lots of running around! I also have experience with older dogs and am very gentle, so if your animal has specific needs, I can easily adapt!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or allergies I would need to be aware of. I also would need to know about specific things that may spook your pup or cause them to be a bit more aggressive. I know that each dog is different and has different personalities like we do as humans but I am quite adaptable so I will do as much as I can for you and your pup to be happy and content.
A typical day
I LOVE to be active with your pups, whether its having them run along side me on a bike for the more energetic ones, or just a good ole game of "tug o' war" in the yard. I love being out in nature, so I am always up for a walk on a trail or around a park!

When I am not loving on your pet(s), I am a Postpartum Doula and studying to get my certification in Labor & Birth! This allows me to have a pretty open schedule in between clients so I can take care of your furry friends!
