Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Lauren and I am a fellow dog lover. I had a dog of my own, Arlo, and he was the absolute best buddy I could've asked for. My husband and I will definitely adopt another dog in the future, but not just yet. I am missing the pitter patter of paws in our house so I'd love to keep your pup company if you can't take them along on your adventures! I am a physical therapist and my next goal is to become a certified canine rehabilitation therapist so I can help patients of the two AND four legged variety! I am very comfortable administering medications and am looking to become certified in pet first aid and CPR in the very near future. My pup wasn’t a fan of other dogs and could be leash aggressive at times so I understand how to manage those situations if your dog demonstrates any selective behaviors. Lauren is wonderful! We’ve had her take care of our dog, Chente, a few times. Each time she has been communicative and sends photos/videos of him! Highly recommend.
Lauren & Marcus were great with Callie, they sent pictures and video during her stay. They also sent me updates as how she was doing.. I know Callie was in good hands and they seemed to really enjoy having her there too! I wouldn't hesitate to bring Callie back again!
I truly can not say enough wonderful things about Lauren. My husband and I try to take our 12 year old yellow lab, Tyson, on all of our vacations. Unfortunately, our recent trip to Maine was not dog friendly so the search to have him stay with someone began. Tyson has cancer and requires a lot of extra TLC so I was very particular in selecting someone to watch him. After finding Lauren, we arranged for a meet and greet that included Tyson. He immediately took to her and it was clear that she would love on him as much as we would. Fast forward to our weekend away without our boy and Lauren sent countless photos and videos of our handsome nugget. She took him for walks several times a day, played fetch with him in the backyard and even filled up a little pool for him to romp around in. In addition to all of the fun they had together, she cared for him like he was her own. Tyson struggles with stairs and when he showed hesitancy, Lauren didn’t hesitate to pick him up so that he wouldn’t fall. My husband and I are so happy that we connected with Lauren and will absolutely be reaching out to her again in the future. Tyson is now her best friend for life!
Lauren was amazing. She was great to communicate with and sent us photos of our dog, Chente. Our dog had such a great time with Lauren and Marcus. I would definitely rebook with her!

I require a meet and greet before I accept any new clients to make sure your dog and I are a good match. I typically like to have clients come to our home so your pup can get acquainted with the space and feel comfortable when they are dropped off! If you provide your crate, we are happy to set it up and have it available. Dogs are allowed to snuggle with us in the couch :)

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors especially specific diet, allergies, medications, etc. I’ve taken care of pups that are leash aggressive, some on seizure medications that needed exact timing, those that get CBD oil/glucosamine/benedryl, etc
A typical day
We have a large partially fenced yard that has a perfect long stretch for playing fetch, chasing squirrels, or just getting out those zoomies! There’s a beautiful lake to walk by that’s just about half a mile down the road. Our neighbor has a friendly lab if you’re ok with them playing together.

I’m available for boarding on weekends and will spend 80-95% of the time at home with your pupper (with the occasional grocery/food run haha!). I can make myself available for weekdays, but please note that I work full time, leave my home at 7AM, and typically get back around 6PM. My husband is currently working from home so he is there to keep your pupper company!
