Pet care experience
I am a Biology graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and an Animal Behavior College certified dog obedience instructor. I have always loved animals and enjoy helping them to stay happy and healthy. I have experience working with dogs, cats, birds (I previously interned at the National Aviary), reptiles, small animals, and fish. I have also been a camp counselor at Camp Bow Wow, so I have experience working with dogs of all breeds. I am animal first-aid certified, and I also have experience administering medication to animals. Currently, I work at Mad Mex as a server/bartender, but other that my shifts there, I will be home! I have three sizes of crates if your pet is usually crated when you leave the house, amen LOTS of toys!

Lauren is a WONDERFUL person! She’s polite, professional, kind, dependable, easy to communicate with (she gets right back to you), and the “icing on the cake,” and most important thing is- she loves our pup, Leyna- and Leyna absolutely ADORES her! Having Lauren come and help us walk Leyna has been an “answer to prayer!” Several months ago, my husband fell and broke his ankle. He couldn’t take Leyna out on the days when I work - we were really stuck! Lauren SAVED THE DAY! She is very flexible and has been able to come and walk Leyna while accommodating my work schedule, which changes from week to week. She would even check in with my husband and see if HE needed anything when she came, which I appreciated very much. (He was in a wheelchair for a couple of months after his accident, so things were a little challenging.). She is GREAT with Leyna and they are “good buddies” now! When we tell Leyna “Lauren is coming,” she gets so excited! We have been using Lauren’s services for several months now, and we couldn’t be more pleased! If we could, we’d give her TEN STARS!!!
Lauren is wonderful! The doggos loved their walk and we enjoyed seeing pictures. Great communication and reliable, would definitely recommend!
Lauren was awesome w/Lily. The pictures she sent showed that Lily was enjoying her walks. Everything went according to plan, and Lauren communicated very effectively Lily’s daily activities. Lily looked great when we got home :) I would definitely recommend her and ask for her again.
Lauren was wonderful! She gave me thorough updates along with plenty of photos to ease my mind! This was my first time using rover and I was a little nervous letting a stranger into my house, but she made me feel completely comfortable! I highly recommend Lauren!

Before accepting a new client, I always require a meet and greet to get to know the dog, and to see how the new dog gets along with my dog.
A typical day
We will enjoy walks together every morning and evening. There are also a variety of dog parks nearby! I frequently go to Bellevue Dog Woods, Lucky Paws, and Misty Pines. Both Lucky Paws and Misty Pines require a copy of shot records for each dog, so if you would like me to take them there to swim then please provide me with a copy of their vaccinations. Lucky Paws also requires proof of a fecal test within the last 12 months.
