Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs for years and absolutely love it! My husband and I are big dog lovers and have 3 boys who share the same love for animals. I started dog sitting/boarding when my husband was working out of town and it has filled my heart and house with so much fun and joy! When your dogs are in my care, they are family. We snuggle together, play together and there is always an eager hand ready to scratch behind your pups ear. My mother makes homemade dog treats and pup cakes that many of my furry guests can enjoy (with permission from parents), and in the summer/spring months, doggie daycare guests and overnight guests get to play in sprinklers and enjoy ice-licks. I'm also a big advocate for walks, so if weather permits, I enjoy taking my guests for a walk along our neighborhood trail :)

For my 1st Rover experience I can honestly say that I would have no problem leaving my pup with Lauren again. She welcomed Matilda with open arms and treated her just like family. The daily updates and pictures were also a nice touch. Matilda was excited to come home after 5 days but also may have been a little sad to leave Lauren and her family. I will definitely contact Lauren in the future!
Lauren was great! We booked her for two drop-in visits and our dogs loved her. I highly recommend.
This was the first time JJ and I been apart. I was so worried about him. I found Lauren and she was the best choice I made concerning a sitter. She kept me informed everyday about JJ's activities and well being, I would recommend Lauren to anyone, especially if this is first time you and pet is apart. Before boarding, I would need to make sure that your dog(s) get along well with my children and will need to know if they will get along with other dogs that may be boarding with us. (If your dog does not like other dogs that is OK! Please just let me know ahead of time so I can keep your time periods closed to other boarders). Usually, these are determined at a meet and greet or during a 1 time overnight stay before boarding.
A typical day
I have a huge, fenced in backyard where me and my boys like to play fetch and Frisbee with our guests. I restock on toys frequently, so other chew toys and squeeky toys are always available! When weather permits, I love taking the dogs for morning and evening walks along our neighborhood walking track!
