I come from a family of 11 dogs (2 golden doodles and 9 beagles). I have a great deal of experience not only with the dogs I grew up with but also dog sitting for several families in the area when I was in undergrad. I am now in graduate school and unable to spend a lot of time with my own dogs due to living about 40 minutes away from my parents home. I am used to a lifestyle of running with my golden doodle 2-3 days a week along with walking any of the 11 dogs multiple times a day (a minimum of 1 mile at a time upwards of 6-7 miles). It has always been a great outlet for me and the pups because we all got exercise and got to bond! I'm very into fitness and working out so I am able to adapt my level of intensity workouts to the activity levels tolerated by your dog(s)!
