Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Lauren and I have experienced all kinds of different animals throughout my life. If you asked me which pet is my favorite I couldn’t tell you- all pets are unique and special! I specialize in small to medium breed dogs and cats but also have extensive experience with rats, various fish, reptiles, amphibians, insects and especially snakes. I’m happy to board pets in enclosures and since our home shares the same grid as the hospital we’re unlikely to lose power for pets who rely on electric lights and such. Since we have rescue animals we can only board non cat or dog pets in enclosures such as a cage or aquarium.

I CANNOT BOARD CATS OR DOGS: We currently have two rescue cats named Sadie and Edgar and a rescue pug named Henry living the high life in our household. I may not have the flexibility to board fellow dogs or cats, but our babies coexist very well with enclosed creatures such as reptiles, amphibians, insects, etc. who have a locking cage or aquarium.

A hard and digital copy of your dogs specific needs such as necessary medications and when they take them, diet including restrictions and allergies, things that can help them feel more at ease such as a favorite toy, treat or activity. Our pug likes Food TV because they will occasionally say his favorite food “chicken”.
A typical day
I love to get to know another person’s pet so I can meet them on their level and have access to activities, special treats or toys that would help them in their owners absence. Our animals have a lot of separation anxiety, so positive distractions can help!

Availability
I’m a local artist who works events on the weekends and the occasional Friday, so the typical work week for those looking for pet care is currently open! I’m available Monday through Thursdays and some Fridays. I prefer to meet up to meet your pet in a public place to make sure I’m a good fit for you and your pets needs! Please get in touch if you’re in the East Bay!
