Pet care experience
I’ve owned dogs my entire life. Growing up my family always had yellow labs. When I moved in with my husband I fell in love with his pitbull, Lola, and she became my new baby. It’s been about a year since we had to let her go due to old age and our home hasn’t been complete since. We just got a new lab puppy on August 14th and she’s learning quickly. Eventually we want to get her a friend but until then we want to keep her well socialized with other animals and welcome any other furry friends into our home who may want to play with her! We are regularly watching dogs from close friends and families and are very experienced with different dogs and personalities.

Lauren was great! Took Marley on short notice, good communication, and returned nice and tired from a long day of playing with her pup. Great fenced backyard with space to run plus leash walks. Highly recommend!

We have a 2 story single family home with a large fenced in yard. We also have doors downstairs from our master bedroom to easily let dogs in/out at night before bed or first thing in the morning. We do have a two story house, so if your dog is too small or too old for stairs please let us know as this might not be the best fit. We recently put new 6-foot fence around the entire yard, so the pups are always secure. It’s still good for me to know if your dog is one of those escape artists always looking for ways out :) so I can be extra vigilant. Every weekend we’re improving the yard and our fence so I continue to update this with the latest status.

Let me know if your dogs has any special needs or behaviors that I should be aware of and prepared to support. Please also let me know if you might have any concerns about your dog getting along with a big energetic puppy. She literally won’t harm a fly but her size and strength could be a lot for a smaller, older dog.
A typical day
We go for walks around the neighborhood in the morning and sometimes the evenings. We play in the backyard often throughout the day and may go to three oaks park.

I work remote from home 100% of the time so I am always home to take care of your pet, as if they’re my own! If any questions or concerns with my availability feel free to message me as I might be flexible. Sometimes I may block off weekends or holidays anticipating to be out of the house but might be flexible or apply a higher rate for weekend/holiday boarding if needed and I’m able to.
