Pet care experience
I am a very experienced pet-sitter and walker living in the Lower East Side! I have my own sweet pup named Lunchbox who I care for on my own after many years of house sitting, dog walking, grooming, and boarding experience. I work from home full time and am so lucky the schedule allows me to do frequent drop-ins and walks for folks in the neighborhood during the day! This is truthfully one of my favorite things to do, I love animals and will treat yours like my own. I try to remain flexible for clients as well, I truly do not shy away from any furry friend! I have experience administering medication, working with rescues, training, managing aggression, and caring for new puppies. This is my first time using Rover and I’m glad I found Lauren being my dog’s pet sitter when I was out for ten days. She keeps me posted every day!!! I can see my dog is having a good time with her! I highly recommend Lauren for sure if you are looking for pet sitter!
I find it unfair that I can only assign five stars because every single time Lauren watches the dogs she continues to exceed expectations!! Easily worthy of a sixth star! On our most recent trip, we had a connecting flight through Florida and with a hurricane off the coast, we weren’t sure we would make it back to Austin. At the very least, we knew we were going to be super late (which we were). Lauren really stepped up to make sure the dogs were cared for until we returned. We’re so grateful to have such a caring and trusting sitter for our four-legged family members while we’re out of town. Thanks a million Lauren!!
Lauren was a dream! She was extremely professional and punctual in our meet and greet- and gave our Daisy the best possible care while we were gone on vacation. I would not hesitate to rebook her again! She takes the best photos of our Daisy and was in communication with us everyday for daily updates. Book her!!

During check-ins and walks I always leave a bowl full of cold water, food, and treat if requested! I know the return to office has a lot of people worried about their furry friend feeling lonely, I totally understand and can assure you will receive tons of pup-dates while you’re gone and your pet will be tuckered out before they start missing you too much!
