I lived in the Dominican Republic as a missionary for 4.5 years. I’m the founder of a non-profit called Dogs of the DR. We fostered orphaned puppies, cared for minor wounds, vaccinated dogs and cats, and flew strays to the U.S. for a better life. I’ve worked with veterinarians in the DR and the U.S., so I have medical knowledge in the case of an emergency. I love running, and I take my dog with me every time I go. I have flexible hours. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from 2 weeks-old, to 14 years-old. I own a car, and I’m willing to travel 10 miles to help out. I allow dogs on the furniture, and in bed. I have no allergies that could prevent me from being useful.
