Good Times at Waggin' Trail Drive!
Pet care experience
Hello! Welcome to 3338 Waggin’ Trail Drive! Archie and the gang would love to invite your pups to stay with us at our home! My name is Lauren and I have years of experience taking care of our K9 friends. We currently live on a quarter acre in Englewood with a fully fenced in yard. It has ample space for your dog and a few others to play, relax under a shaded tree or stay on guard in case an unwanted squirrel approaches. We currently own one dog – Archie, and he is an easy-going beagle. If you’re looking for daycare or overnight boarding, please reach out! I would love to be the one to provide your dog a great experience while you are away.
Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my beloved furry friends to Lauren, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best decisions I have made for my dogs. From the moment we met, I could tell that Lauren was not only a true animal lover but also extremely professional and reliable. During my time away, Lauren provided exceptional care and attention to my dogs. She went above and beyond to make sure that my dogs were comfortable, well-fed, and most importantly, happy. I received regular updates and photos which put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my trip without worrying about my furry companions. What truly impressed me about Lauren was her ability to connect with my dogs. I could tell that she genuinely cared about my dogs and was invested in making sure that they had the best possible experience. I highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter. She truly exceeded all of my expectations, and I will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thank you Lauren and Archie for taking such great care of my furry friends!
Amazing dog sitter! My dogs didn't want to leave!! I was out of the country for 12 days and I had peace of mind knowing my dogs were in good hands. I received constant updates with pictures.
Lauren took great care of our pup, Moxie, for a long weekend. She met Moxie with warmth and constantly kept us updated with pictures. Even giving her some extra TLC when she got a bit homesick the first night. Their dog Archie was a great playmate, understanding boundaries but keeping up with our high energy dog. Lauren, thanks so much for giving Mox a great exhausting weekend!!
Our dogs Donner and Blitzen spent the weekend with Lauren and her dog Archie. She sent us pictures and updates. The dogs were tired when they got home usually a sign they played hard. Will definitely use Lauren again.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a very relaxed and easy-going living situation at our house. Whether your dog is with me for the day or for an extended period, we’re ready to accommodate your dog to make them as comfortable and happy as possible. Regarding your pet’s health and safety – this is number one. Now in the unlikely chance that something might happen, we have our local vet on call and we are a stone’s throw away from the close by VRCC in case of emergencies (just in case!)

Information Lauren K. would like to know about your pet
I often find that people tend to openly share what they believe is important to know about their dog. Here are some things that can get you started: Any specific care instructions? This is always helpful to help plan your pets stay (and critical depending on medications, etc.) What’s your dog’s personality? This will allow me to better plan activities that are best suited for their demeanor? (Anxious, Easy-going, protective, etc.) Type of Training Level? Everyone’s dog is different, and expectations vary. It is good to know what we’re working with ahead of time to properly prepare. Anything else you would like to share! I’d love to hear!
A typical day
As mentioned, we can accommodate the level of activity and stimulation your dog may need during their stay with us. Whether it is a short walk, a long hike, or playtime – we have something for everyone. Minutes away from the Mary Carter Greenway Trail, we love to take Archie on the walking trail to “get into nature.” Beyond that we live in a very quiet neighborhood with tons of streets to walk along. We are not far from several dog parks, where we can get some socialization time in (permission granted only). I am not an expert; however, if your dog is in training, we can work on building their skillset if that is also desired. I have had experience with clicker trainer, and a few other approaches – we’re ready to work with you so that at minimum -- your weeks of training don’t go down the drain when you’re out of town – I believe in building good and positive habits!

Availability
I currently work a hybrid work schedule and am available for daycare on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week. For overnight stays and days that I am in the office, I work 5 minutes from the house, where I can come home over lunch to let the dogs stretch and get some fresh air. On weeknights we typically take Archie to the dog park or on a nice long walk. On weekends, we’re typically doing house projects, and Archie plays in the yard or we might be out hiking in the mountains (we will only bring your dog hiking permission granted.)
