Pet care experience
I have been taking care of pets since I was a child. In that time I have worked with dogs, cats, reptiles, fish - you name it. I have also spent 5 years volunteering at my local animal shelter, Adopt a Pet Fenton. I have experience administering medication and I am always sure to complete all tasks that owners ask of me. I not only vigilantly care for pets, but I enjoy spending time with them, and making sure that your animals are happy. I do my best to go above and beyond standard care for pets, ensuring that your pet gets the attention and affection that they deserve. My rates are set to accommodate pets that need lots of time and attention, I am happy to make financial adjustments upon request!

Lauren was awesome with our furbabies! Although this was our first time having her visit, she did an outstanding job of learning her responsibilities prior to our departure and updating us throughout our trip. At the last minute before we left, one of our pets had an issue and Lauren had no difficulty caring for her. She truly cares for animals and that comes through to the pets she cares for. We have several semi-feral kitties who hide when anyone enters our home but after just a short time, one of them let himself be seen and the next day let her pet him! Amazing. Our pets were very happy to see us return, but not frantic for attention - showing she showered them with love and care. Thank you Lauren for taking such wonderful care of our furbabies. We look forward to a long and lasting relationship! 5 STARS!

Lauren is wonderful! She is an excellent communicator and has a wonderful calming personality! Our two dogs are super comfortable with her! I highly recommend Lauren. Also, she just helped us out totally last minute which we appreciate very much!!
Lauren is great, she has sat for us two times now - once drop ins with our older cat and medicine, more recently with our enthusiastic younger dog. Both times we’ve have great experiences, excellent communication and care. We’ll continue to work with Lauren and you should too — as long as it’s not the same dates we need ;)

I am not available to board pets (some possible exceptions) but I can spend as much time as needed at your house to properly care for your animals. I can provide any attention that they might need, and I enjoy taking dogs on walks around the neighborhood. I would be happy to bring dogs over for short periods of time, I live in an area that’s great for walks and my family would love to give attention to a new visitor. My dog also gets along great with other dogs.

I have no breed preferences, I have taken care of both large and small dogs and I am capable of physically handling stronger dogs. I would like to know about any restrictions or medical conditions that your dog may have in order to ensure their well-being. I would also like to know your dog’s general behavior, do they enjoy walks, or do they prefer to fetch? Information like that is very important to me so that your pet will be happy while you’re gone.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks or runs anywhere around the neighborhood. If toys are provided we can play fetch, tug of war, or other games. If you have been training your dog, I can practice with them as well. I’m also very affectionate and would be happy to simply spend time with them if your dog is older.

I have a part time job (4 hour shifts), but for the most part petsitting is my full time job! I have lots of time for walks, play time, and animals that need special attention.
