Pet care experience
Jason and I have had dogs living with us our entire lives. They are an extension of family, so you can be assured your furbaby will be looked after as if it was our own. We are in our thirties. Jason grew up with German shepherds and I grew up with Scottish and jack russell terriers. Additionally, Zoey our 6-year old beagle mix has been under our care since we adopted her at a shelter as a puppy.
Reviews
Lauren and Jason are great. They made our dog Stella feel right at home. Sent pictures and kept us updated. Their dog Zoe is so sweet and also made Stella feel at home. Will definitely use them again!
Lauren and Jason did a fantastic job taking care of our pups! I can tell what a great time they had because they weren't interested in us when we came to pick them up. LOL!!! Thank you so much for making us feel so at home! Zorro, Capri and Bailee
Our doxies absolutely love staying with Lauren. Lauren sends lots of loving photos with the pups comfy on her lap, which makes me very happy. I know they are in good hands. They also have a nice, fenced backyard. Our go-to sitter! Highly recommend.
Lauren and Jason did a great job of watching our dog! We appreciated the communication about his stay, and felt very comfortable leaving our senior dog in good hands.

Our philosophy is to make your dog's stay as close to being at home as possible. For this reason, we only accept 1 dog per booking (we can accommodate siblings). By doing so, we can adapt to our guests feeding / walking times and give them more individualized attention. In addition, this removes the opportunity for altercations between animals who aren't familiar with one another. We live on 1/2 an acre with a fenced in yard in south Charlotte just 15 minutes from Uptown. We are near a large dog park which has separate fenced running areas for large and small dogs. Additionally, we have access to two walking trails from our neighborhood. Our home is all hardwood floors, which the dogs like to lay on during the summer to cool off. We also have three dog beds, though we allow (and encourage) dogs on the couch/bed. Our living room has two sliding doors which open up to the fenced yard making it quite easy to accommodate potty breaks. We routinely see wildlife in our backyard (squirrels, deer, etc.) and our windows are only a few inches off the ground - - a convenient height for small dogs to see outside.

Information Lauren & Jason C. would like to know about your pet
We need to know your dog’s daily routines and any special dietary/prescription needs. No need to bring dog beds, but if your dog needs to be crated we will need you to bring that.
A typical day
We take one long walk per day (2.5 miles+) around the trails in the neighborhood or in the trails at the nearby park. Zoey normally plays outside about once per hour, so roughly 15 bathroom breaks per day (she knows her mom is a pushover). If your dog is more active, we can certainly accommodate additional exercise. Our yard is large enough to play fetch and we can do additional walks/jogs.

Availability
Weekdays: Between both of our work schedules, either Jason or I will be home at almost all times M-F. I work from home 3-4 days out of the week and Jason is home until 3PM each weekday. On the days I am not working from home, I get home by 5:30-6. Weekends: The longest we leave our dog Zoey on the weekend is 4 hours, but that's a rare occasion. Jason & I are homebodies and prefer to be with the pups snuggling on the couch or going for walks in the neighborhood.
