I am a 28 year-old California State Bakersfield 2020 graduate and a communication and digital media major with a minor in fine art. While I intern at a surf company and work as a freelance graphic artist, I like to pet sit part time. I am an animal person and have a pug, Lawrence Taylor (LT), who loves to go to Kroll dog park and beach trips with me. I know how to administer medicine to dogs, taken care of senior dogs, and provide special care. I have been a pet sitter for 4 years and have enjoyed every second. I have the best clients! My usual Rover sitter was on vacation and I was really stuck for a replacement! Lauren came to the rescue. We did a quick meet and greet on a Sunday afternoon and then she took our Wilson for the next day. He was very happy, and got to make a new friend with Lauren's little pooch. Plenty of toys, a huge backyard... simply doggy heaven.
Lauren is awesome! She was extremely flexible when we had a family event come up for the weekend and even asked for an extra day of boarding. Maya was so tired from playing and was right at home with her pup and family. We will be definitely keeping Lauren as a sitter for Maya. Thank you!
Lauren loves animals. She has a special connection with them. She is extremely responsible & goes the extra mile when caring for our pets. She keeps herself updated on the latest training techniques. She also donates money and time at the local shelters. I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs their pets taken care of or simply walked regularly. She is very flexible & is available to house sit with the pets during extended vacations. That's particularly nice over holidays with loud fireworks that can cause anxiety to our animals. She helped us last year over July 4th when we were gone.
