Hi! I'm Lauren, and I am a professional classical musician who teaches at a university. I love dogs but because I travel frequently for work I can't have one of my own (crossing my fingers that will change sometime soon!). I'd love to help you out by looking after your dog. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to help out while you're taking a vacation. I have cared for dogs of family and friends since childhood, and I am responsible and will take great care of your home as well if you need me to stay overnight. I love taking really long walks, especially with a dog! I have some experience caring for dogs with anxiety or "people issues". Please contact me if you have any questions. I have cared for many cats and dogs of neighbors growing up. Most of my experience is with small or medium sized dogs, but I am very comfortable and happy to work with larger animals as well! I also have experience with fearful or anxious dogs, and those who need to take oral medication. *NON-SMOKING HOMES ONLY FOR OVERNIGHT STAYS* An overnight stay includes up to 24 hours of care. Beyond that is subject to additional fees. For new clients: my rate includes one meet and greet, so I can meet you and your pup, learn their routines, and learn where necessary items are in your house. Additional meetings prior to bookings are considered a drop-in visit.
A typical day
I just really love dogs! I'm not a runner, but I really love taking super long walks, especially with a puppy in tow! I also love cuddling with dogs, and playing games like fetch and tug of war.
