I got my first puppy at age 18 - my little mini dach talulah. it was love at first sight and although it was 11 years ago now I still remember our first night together and the overwhelming love i felt for this tiny thing. I lost her 2 years ago and it was the hardest thing ever; she was truly my best friend. She had many ongoing health issues and caring for provided me so much purpose during my early twenties. I have just left an incredibly demanding job in marketing in order to find something that makes me want to get up every morning. I can't imagine anything I'd like more than to love and care for dogs who can't be with their favourite people for a while. I am finding my feet in terms of a freelance career but it means i can hang out with your pup all the time, which is honestly what I'd want for mine.
