I've hesitated to submit this review, but feel it necessary so that Rover has this information. We were very impressed with meeting Lauren -- she took notes about our dogs and seemed to care about them. She stayed with them for a week while we were in Colorado. We have a camera in our family room and every time we looked to see the dogs, they were nowhere to be found, and neither was she. So my husband would call and ask where the dogs were and how they were doing and she'd say she'd gone to bed early, or she was doing yoga on the deck, or make some excuse about where they were. Their crates were in the family room and we heard no crying, so have no idea where our dogs were -- or where she was during the day. We also had crates in an upstairs bedroom so she may have put them up there so as not to listen to their crying about being crated all day while she was God knows where. She sent us a photo of them only twice during the entire week. When we got home, I discovered a pile of feces in my office that had been there for awhile. The dogs were not allowed in there without supervision, so she clearly did not keep good track of them or followed our rules -- and why was she in my office in the first place when the instructions were to keep the door closed? Because of this, we can't trust that any of your sitters will take good care of our dogs, so we won't be using Rover again. We're very disappointed because we'd rather leave our dogs in their own home instead of a kennel.

I cannot say enough good things about Lauren. We met at our house for a meet and greet and we instantly knew she was the perfect match. She asked questions and even took notes, which proved to us that she was serious about taking care of Kodo. She watched our Aussie at our house for a week, and we were at ease the entire time. She sent daily texts/pictures and did an excellent job at keeping us updated. We came home to a happy pup and a spotless house. We especially appreciated the letter she left behind letting us know how the stay went. She even left us cookies! Lauren, we cannot thank you enough! We will definitely be contacting Lauren for our future sitter needs :)
