Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Lauren! I graduated from the University of Michigan and am now in my fourth year of medical school at the CMU College of Medicine. While I work at the hospital during the week, I will pretty much be in Saginaw every weekend. I am very active, so walks/runs are great! If you live in a walkable area, I can take your dog on walks/runs in your neighborhood or in local parks so they can be socialized. I grew up with a golden retriever, and my college house fostered a lab-pitbull mix (3 yrs old) and 2 hound puppies (5 months old). I love all dogs and will not discriminate. Lauren grew up around dogs and cats as family pets and knows that there are responsibilities associated with being in charge when there are animals in the house. She truly loves animals, and can often be found visiting animal shelters in her spare time - which there isn't a lot of, so you know that it's important to her. She was also the driving force to getting her University of Michigan housemates to take on multiple foster-pets. All of the animals that she's worked with have been well-behaved, and well-loved. Both you and your pet will enjoy knowing Lauren. (Full disclosure: I'm very biased, as Lauren is my daughter. She's one of the nicest people that I've ever met. Her foster-dogs all agree.)

Please let me know if your dog has any special diet needs and their general activity level. If your dog is not used to walking for long periods of time, it would be helpful to know that in advance so I don’t push them too hard or try to run with them.
A typical day
I usually prefer to watch athletic dogs who like to go on walks or play fetch, however, I also enjoy leisurely walks outside to get some fresh air.

While I work most week days, I usually have weekday evenings and weekends off and will be at home relaxing or studying. I’d love to let your dog out, take them for a walk, or play with them for a study break.
