I've had golden retrievers from age 3-27, they were such joys in my life, my best friends. Since living in Manhattan and unable to have a dog of my own, I spend free time fostering rescue dogs and volunteering to walk dogs at shelters. I usually frequent BARC shelter in Brooklyn, since that is where I first volunteered with New York Cares. It breaks my heart since the same dogs months, even years later still there un-adopted, but I feel good that I can be a familiar face for them, giving all my love. Nothing brings me more happiness than stepping away from superficial stresses of life, and enjoying a few moments with a furry friend. As much as it is a joy for me, I hope I make it for them as well. I promise I am very careful, safe, trustworthy and will be 100% focused on your dog when in my care. I would love to use any free time to surround myself with dogs, with your help :)
