Pet care experience
Though before the pandemic I was often traveling for work and thus have no pets of my own, I’m often the go-to for friends when they travel to stay and care for their pets like they’re my own. Have stayed overnight with as many as four dogs, and have a relatively flexible schedule and looking forward to taking care of your animals!

Lauren is so great, I cannot say enough positive things. She stayed with our elderly dog who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Lauren kept me updated on her medication, eating habits, etc and even sent pictures regularly. I feel very comfortable having Lauren at our home with our fur baby.
We love Lauren! She is the only non family member/long time friend I’ve trusted my baby with. He is a quirky, anxious, sweet and she is patient and communicative with me so I know how he is doing emotionally and physically. Rave review for Lauren
Lauren was so kind to give my Ella a break during the day and then came back in the afternoon to let her out, give her some attention and feed her dinner. Lauren sent me photos from both visits. Most of the time I have watched pets from friends’ homes, but I am happy to watch your smaller pet(s) from my home. I have a yard, but no fence. I do prefer to do a meet and greet first, so I can get to know you/your pet/any specific instructions so I can make sure I can appropriately love and care for your pet as if they were my own.

When meeting your pets, I like to make sure I know their feeding schedule, if there is anything I can do to help get them to eat if they’re not eating, if they have any specific medications and how they generally take them. Do they have preferences as to where they sleep? What is your vet info, and if something were to happen, do you want me to take your pet there?
A typical day
Depending on your dogs’ needs, we can adjust the activities to include walks of shorter or longer distances, play ball, or go to the park or trails, but if your dog is more comfortable being home and just going out in the yard, we can do that and play there too!

I’m a consultant who works from home currently, so I can adjust my schedule fairly flexibly to love and care for your pet(s) as needed. Please note that I do require a meet and greet at least 24 hours in advance of the booking, as I like to make sure I’m a great fit for your pet(s) and your pets are a great fit for me!
