Pet care experience
I own and operate Music City Cozy Canine (licensed and insured) check me out on Social Media to get a good idea of what your pups time will look like with me. I have grown up with dogs and I am comfortable with high energy dogs as well as the couch hippos. We recently lost my two senior dogs (16 &14), and my husband and I are not ready for another dog of our own, however I look forward to helping you care for your dog(s). I have extensive experience with senior dogs and I am comfortable with giving medication and special diets. I also have experience giving subcutaneous injections. I work from home, so it is easy to offer immediate bathroom breaks to any age dog. I live in a safe quiet neighborhood near the greenway and take a long walk daily during lunch time with my husband-we would love to add a furry friend.

I have a very dog friendly home. My home is located at the back of quiet neighborhood with sidewalks and access to the greenway. There are no other pets or children in our home, so we can take dogs with anxiety or those that may not do well with other animals. Senior pets will do well I my home because it it very calm and quiet here, however puppies and high energy dogs can get plenty of stimulation to keep them happy as well. In my care you can trust that your pet will be protected from the dangers of unknown animals. I will not take your animal to a dog park nor will I allow your animal around any others without your express permission.

I would need to know how to best care for your pet. I welcome hearing about their likes/dislikes and quirks. I will need to know if there are Medication needs, Allergies, or Special diets they need to adhere to. What treats they can/cannot have. Also if they have a tendency to chew or mark furniture. Do they have anxiety? Are they scared of other animals or aggressive to other animals/people?
A typical day
Any dog that stays with me will be guaranteed a long walk at lunch time. Short walks for potty breaks will also be built in depending on the dog plus, we have a small dog run out back for other potty needs. Senior dogs and puppies who need a quiet calm home and regular potty breaks would do well here. Whether they want to play with toys or nap beside me-I am open to meet their needs and activity levels. Play time can include fetch, tug of war, snuffle mat stimulation or work on basic training commands like “sit”.

I work remote so I will be home and available for your pets stay. Low energy pups will have the peace and quiet to nap. The higher energy pups will see play time throughout the day on the agenda be it fetch, tug of war, or time playing with the snuffle mat.
