My favorite thing about dogs is that they are intensely happy about even the simplest things. That disposition is so contagious it is a veritable force of goodness. I love working with Rover because it allows me to meet as many dogs as possible and build friendships with them! Dogs just want to make people happy and they love everybody without any hesitation and being a sitter lets me have more dogs in my life and the more I can be around that special “dogness,” the better. I have been walking, sitting and taking care of dogs since I was 14 and I’ve volunteered at PAWS. I also have Truman, a Pit/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. I grew up on a farm, which means I have a lot of experience with other animals from horses to fish! I have helped to take care of more than 10 horses, eight cats and plenty of freshwater fish. I would love to offer services for these animals as well. One of my favorite things to do with dogs is go for a long walk in the park. Somebody told me once that taking a dog on a new walking route has so many different smells it's like seeing a new movie for the dog, so I would want to take them to see a new movie every day! My schedule is very flexible, and I can move almost all of my commitments around to accommodate any dog's itinerary. Some of my favorite parks and routes in the city are Rittenhouse Square, the Schuylkill River Trail and Fairmount Park. And sometimes a nice stroll through the city can also be really interesting and refreshing! My two favorite hobbies are art and hiking! I can definitely bring dogs with me when I go hiking, which is often at Wissahickon. Lastly, I think the key to good customer service is communication and responsibility. I will make sure there is great communication between myself and any clients so that I can avoid any issues. Additionally, great communication keeps the client at ease so that they know how their dog is doing and that they me at any time. I’m committed to taking care of your family!
