Pet care experience
I love all animals! I've had everything from turtles to rabbits, dogs, cats, fish, you name it! I moved to Philly in 2021 and realized with my own dog that it was difficult to find someone to care for her for the hours I needed while I was working and even more difficult to find someone available and willing. It sparked an opportunity to help others who have found themselves in the same situation as I had. So I started to offer doggy day care, boarding, walking, and drop in visits and it worked well! Currently I am unable to offer doggy day care and boarding but surely don't mind walking or dropping in! I have experience working at a veterinary clinic so I have extensive training with animals!

Lauren is a dream dog auntie. She took WONDERFUL care of my two dogs by giving them lots of affection. She gave them meds, hand-fed the older dog (who can a bit of a challenge), and took them both out for outdoor play and pee times even though they have a doggy door. I am very impressed with her and her dedication.

Lauren was great!! Not only was she quick to respond, but she also lives in a very convenient location. She kept us updated throughout the stay and Chop came back happy and tired! We would highly recommend Lauren.

I’ve got a pup of my own, her name is Onyx. She’s a miniature Schnauzer who I’ve used this great resource for as well. With having my own pup, I’m knowledgeable of some of the great parks in the area that may be within walking distance of your own home.

No breed preferences. Do they get along with other dogs? Are they trained to walk on a leash? Do they know some basic commands like sit, stay? Does your pet need medication? What are some of he/she's likes and dislikes?
A typical day
Local parks are the best! Some offer a small off leash area which I also love to treat dogs to. If no local park is near by, your neighbor good works great too!

Availability
I’m currently in a transition stage of my career and so I have time to give to some furry friends. I’m available for walking and drop in visits throughout the week and weekends. I know sometimes things come up at the drop of a hat but when possible, I prefer to have appointments made at least a day in advance for dog walking and 2 days in advance for drop in visits due to the extensive instruction that’s needed.
