With dogs or cats, I’d prefer to know if they have any fear/aggression triggers to avoid (ex. My dog Sage will roll on her back but does NOT want tummy rubs and will growl). Knowing what motivates positive behavior is also helpful! Are they food motivated, play motivated, etc? Any meal and medication schedules are also appreciated so I can make sure they’re following their regimen. If your pet has any special needs please let me know so I can confirm if I’m qualified to take care of them. Making sure your pet is set up for success is my top priority.

With my own pets, I try to anticipate their daily needs since they can vary day-to-day. Sometimes my dog Sage will want to take an hour walk, and on other days she’s a homebody that wants to cuddle and watch dog tv. This also goes with my cats! There are moments where they’re having the zoomies and clearly need to be played with, and there’s also times where they want to be left alone with their favorite blanket (warmed up in the dryer of course). If you know your pet’s favorite activity, just let me know! I don’t mind taking them for a pup cup, out to the bark park, or even just staying in on the couch so they have some 1x1 attention.
