Lauren was great with my kitties and respectful of my home. She stayed in touch while we were away and kept my mind at ease. Very sweet girl.

I have used Lauren several times. She was very sweet when I met her and anytime I had her stay with my pets. I suspected that she was using my washer and dryer while she was Pet/housesitting in the past. But I did not confront her about it because I didn’t think it was a huge deal. When I came home today after being gone for four days what I discovered made me sick to my stomach. I found that my dogs had been put in their crates during the day. One dog was so upset that he ripped his bedding up in the crate and he ripped up the covering that was over the crate. His paws were soaking wet when I got home and his bedding was soaking wet. I know He had just been in the crate right before I arrived. My house was a mess when I got home. She was in the bedroom frantically gathering all of her things together and she took the trash with her. I thought that was strange but now realize there must have been something in there she did t want me to see. I also discovered two shot glasses in my sink. When I asked her about it she had no answer. She left clothing in my dryer which included both male and female underwear. I suspect that she had someone else in my home while I was gone. Although I do not have proof of it. She took clean towels out of my dryer and put them on top of the dirty litter boxes. The litter boxes had not been cleaned in days. She also did not feed my animals at dinner time today. I have one dog that is very picky and if she has already eaten and you put more food down for her she will not eat. She could not wait to eat and gobbled up all of her food. The water bowl was almost completely empty. When I spoke with her on the phone about what I had found she told me that she did use my washer and dryer, but that she had not put the dogs in the crates while she was gone. When I explain to her what I had found with the crate she said that she had put them in there for a little while but not while she was gone. She lied then admitted it. I got my house key back from her which she left on my car in the driveway instead of bringing it to my door. Then sent a text where she had left it. I told her I would no longer need her services.
