Pet care experience
I have been around animals all my life, and I also have manager experience at a pet store, for 4 years. I have experience with a wide range of animals, as well, so I would be more than happy to help with any other furry, scaly, slimy, feathered friends of all types. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, from tiny 6 week old puppies to 100+ pound adults. I also have experience in pet nutrition and dieting, as well as administering medicine, if needed. Also, I do have experience in basic training, so if needed, I could give you tips, or start basic training while being with your dog(s). If you have any special requests, as well, please let me know, as I will complete those requests to the best of my ability. I will be happy to take care of your pet(s) while you are away, whether it be work, school, or vacation! • What You Get: You are paying for, not only a well experienced animal caretaker, but someone who will take care of your pet like it were my own. - For dog walking and drop-in visits: You will get picture and video updates, but I do not tidy up the house unless asked otherwise. Fees will apply. I will bring in any mail or packages, as well, no extra fees. Lauren is awesome! I knew as soon as I met her that she is a sweet and responsible lady! She checked in on Molly while I took a weekend trip, and went above and beyond to make my girl feel loved with a ride, and treats! I received updates, pictures and video while gone. I knew she was a keeper when I got home and it was like a normal day...Molly didn't seem like it phased her that I was gone...exactly what I had hoped for! I've already rebooked Lauren for a longer vacation this summer.
Lauren has watched our 2 dogs multiple times and is extremely professional. She is more than willing to work with our schedule and our pups love her. Would recommend to any friends or family!

I would also like to include this: *NO AGGRESSIVE ANIMALS* I will not look after any animal who is known to bite, and/has bitten in the past. That is for my own safety, as well as keeping the animal out of stressful situations. Snakes do not count. I have 2 of my own, and know how to safely take care of them, without stressing them out and causing them to strike.
Information Lauren D. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences. All dogs (cats, reptiles, etc. too) will be completely eligible for receiving my care. I would like to know of any allergies, likes/dislikes, preferred walking areas, if they get car sick (if I would be allowed to take them to a dog park, etc.), any medications and how to administer them, how often would you like me to walk/run them, preferred vet & their contact info, and anything else you may think I need to know.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentally and physically. Whether that be with a walk and exploring new smells, doing basic training (upon owner’s request), or playing a brain stimulating game. I have a few toys that I could bring that would be good for this. One is a game in which you hide the treat in a slot, and the pup will have to smell and find the correct slot in which the treat is in, and paw it open. My beagle loved this and it stimulated her very well! Cats will be played with, with whatever toys you have around the house (laser pointer, the rod thing with the string attached, etc.), If they play. If not, lots of love and pets will be given!

I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule to help you out with your babies, unless I am out of town. Again, I take care of more than just dogs!
