I was a public school teacher in New York City but moved back to California. Currently, I am in San Diego and work remotely for an edtech software company. My home is on the first floor (no stairs) and has a fenced-in patio where your pup can sunbathe. Working from home allows me to ensure your pup keeps to their potty and feeding schedule. My fiancé and I are pup moms to a 12-year old Australian Cattle Dog mix rescue from Sally's Rescue in the valley. He loves to nap, cuddle next to you, and occasionally play with toys and other pups. He's an older man and sometimes just likes to keep to himself. As of 5/1/2023, we adopted a 3-year old Aussie Cattle Dog Mix from Woofs and Wags Rescue in SD. We’re slowly learning her personality, but she gets along with other dogs, loves cuddles, and is the ultimate explorer. I also had a previous rescue named Bailey who passed away. She was a sweet 8-year-old Bichon-Schnauzer-Chihuahua mix rescue from the Manhattan ACC. We loved to play, hike, go on car rides, and explore the city. I understand that being away from your dog can be hard, so I offer daily updates with photos and videos of what your canine family member is up to. Any weekend or holiday is a perfect time for me to give your pooch all the love and attention he or she needs! I also know that trekking with your pup can be a hassle. Let me do the work! I offer flexible pick up/drop off --- $20 (one way) if your home is 15 miles or less away. However, if you live further, we can work it out. Having a car also allows me to take your pup to the parks, hikes, and the vet if needed. Must be housebroken pets only - apartment is mainly carpet.
