Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Lauren and I moved here from North Carolina about a year ago. I have experience with animal health care as I was a veterinary assistant as well as kennel manager at a boarding facility. There we took care of dogs, cats, horses and llamas too! We also bathed the animals when requested. If your fur baby usually gets a frozen licky-mat after their supper, I am more than happy to provide them that. I’ve been animal sitting for 6 years now! Every animal from dogs and cats to livestock and even exotic animals! I love what I do and it’s my goal to make sure your pets feel as safe and loved as they do with their parents. I treat every animal with love and respect! I am still getting the hang of the big city but I am always up for an adventure around the block! If you have any questions I will be glad to answer them! I should be free everyday all day for a while.

Although I do not have a fenced in backyard, we live in a beautiful and safe neighborhood close to Hewitt Park. My fiance and I are a one fur baby household and would definitely enjoy the extra company while their parents are out of town. Our dog, Ellie, tends to have separation anxiety when we are away and if that's the case with your fur baby, we may want extra information on your pets favorite treats, blankets or beds! We can also provide photos and videos of them at any time of day/night to ensure your own comfort.

His/her age, behaviors, allergies or triggers I should know about. Triggers being if they freak out over hearing a motorcycle or to the word “ball”. Also if they have any favorite toys, words and treats. I have experience with how to care for diabetic animals.
A typical day
Where ever the owner feels comfortable with me going with them. I will gladly go from parks to an open field and just letting them run (with exceptions). If they have a tendency to destroy toys yet they want to play with a few at a dog park, I’ll buy some cheap ones for them so they don’t have to destroy all they’re favorites during their stay. If they love to run, no problem! I need the exercise anyways! If they start to get tired, breaks are very appreciated on both sides.

I babysit on the side with a sporadic schedule that is very flexible. I am available from Monday- Sunday 5 am- 7 pm for walks.
