My name is Lauren and I want to help you care for your best friend! I'm currently a stay-at-home mom to two boys and three dogs and have extra time on my hands while my boys are in school to help you out during the day, or in the evening. I am available for dog walking, drop-in care or for hosting your dog in our home while you're away. My dogs are friendly and welcoming of other dogs as I also foster dogs for a non-profit rescue based in Northern and Central California. Here's a little bit about me - I am the primary caregiver for my family's dogs and I have had dogs as a part of my life since I was old enough and responsible enough to care for them. I have experience with both small, medium and large-sized dogs having had the pleasure of being a dog mom to a wonderful, sassy Shih Tzu, a lover-boy Chihuhua-Dachsund mix, a crazy terrier mix, and two gentle, sweet Boxers. I have experience with puppies as well as seniors and I understand that each dog's needs are different and varied. I've taken care of dogs who have been through surgeries (TPLO, mass removal, hip surgery) and I am comfortable providing medications and any special care needed. My goal is to walk your dog at a pace comfortable to the individual dog. I am a runner and am happy to engage in more uptempo walks or jogging if that's what you're looking for in a dog walker. I'm also find to amble along slowly with a senior up the block and back if that's more their pace. Lastly, I have been on the other side of this business, reading through profiles, trying to locate services for my own dogs. I understand how communication can help put a dog owner at ease and give them a comfort level that their best pal is being well-cared for. I would treat your pupper like my own.
