Even at a young age, I understood the special connection people have with their pets and I knew I wanted to someday have a career caring for animals. I have 10 years of professional experience working with family pets, including 6 years of experience previously working as a Veterinary Assistant. Additionally, I was certified as a Fear Free Veterinary Professional in 2019. 🐕🐩💓🐈🐈⬛ I am experienced in caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, temperaments and ages, including puppies, kittens and senior pets. I am also experienced in caring for birds, fish, reptiles and pocket pets! Is your pet on medication? No worries! I regularly administer oral, topical and injectable medications (including insulin) to pets in my care.

Lauren was absolutely fantastic! I’m very protective of my puppies as they are like children to me. To say I was nervous about this experience is a major understatement! I searched through the reviews and had seen she had been doing this for quite some time, and had excellent reviews. I’m glad I chose her. She came to the house a few days in advance for a meet & greet to put everybody’s mind at ease. She did fantastic with the dogs. I have a sensor on my front and back doors that keep a record of when they are opened and closed. Lauren was on time (to the exact minute), great with the dogs, checked their food and water, made sure they “did their business”, and even brought in my mail! After each visit she sent a detailed report, including their bathroom habits, and even sent multiple pictures! A++++++++. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
Lauren was extremely professional! She followed our instructions and gave detailed updates each visit. She is friendly and very understanding of different pet personalities and needs. I felt confident our cats were being well taken care of.

It is helpful when my clients provide as much information as possible about their pet’s daily routine during my complementary Meet and Greet. As an in-home Pet Sitter, I find that replicating pets’ usual routine in their own home gives pets a sense of familiarity and comfort, as opposed to the stress they may experience in a pet daycare or a boarding facility. The level of attention and care I put into my pet care drop-in visits and dog walks brings my clients peace of mind, knowing that their pets are comfortable and safe in their own home while they are away.

I REQUIRE a Meet and Greet to be completed PRIOR to booked services. For your pet’s safety as well as my own, I also REQUIRE pet owners to disclose if their pet has ever bitten before, has anxiety in any form or exhibits any guarding behaviors (food, toy, crate, barrier) PRIOR to booking. It is also helpful to know your pet’s likes, dislikes, quirks and fears to ensure your pets remain comfortable and safe while in my care!
A typical day
I strive to provide a very comfortable experience for my clients pets by adhering as close to their regular daily routine as possible. I start my drop-in visits by greeting your pets and spending time with them. Then I will let them outside in their backyards or get leashes/harnesses on for walks, feed and refresh water bowls, tidy litter boxes, and give medications if needed. After that, it’s playtime for the high energy pups and kitties or just extra love and couch cuddles for others. All bookings include photos of your pets and a detailed update of my visit or stay with your pets. I will also bring in any mail and packages, and water any plants if plant care is requested.

Availability
As a full-time pet sitter, I accept requests for any time of day, seven days a week, including all major holidays. I am currently accepting new clients who are needing weekly reoccuring care for their pets as well as new clients needing periodic help with their pets while on trips and vacations!
