Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I currently have two dogs, a puppy and a senior, and one cat. I have taken care of friends’ and neighbors’ dogs including walking, feeding, exercising, and giving oral medication. I also have some limited experience with reptiles (leopard and crested geckos, beardies, and painted turtles) and small rodents (guinea pigs).

I would highly recommend Laren! She did a fantastic Job caring for all 7 of my animals for a week ( 3 cats & 3 dogs + 1 bearded dragon).. She was excellent about giving me feedback on how the visits went plus noting what went on during the visit with plenty of pictures of happy animals ?Lauren made sure every one got loved on & played with during each visit. My oldest cat got himself in trouble just before we left , he had an abscess on his head that required an emergency visit to the vet.. she did a great job with his follow up care, giving him hot compresses everyday and making sure the wound was healing well & he was eating & drinking. As well as making sure I knew everyday how he was doing through it all sending text & pictures.. she was very good about asking me how I wanted to handle things with him and all the animals.. Everyone was safe & happy and I returned to peaceful happy animals. ?

When caring your your pets, I want to make sure we are on your schedule to make sure they are happy and healthy. I prefer to keep as much of the environment the same as possible, including schedule/routine and commands. In my own home, pets are free to roam, unless noted by you. We also have a big front and backyard (the back is fenced in) to run, play, and sunbathe. I also like to take and send lots of pictures of your pups to keep you updated.

Tell me about your pup’s personality especially around other animals, behavior on vs. off leash, and anything else you think is important! For winter walking, let me know if any clothing should go on your pup and where I can clean their paws afterward.
A typical day
During a typical day, we’re up early to go outside and have breakfast. After, we’re likely to go for a walk and then play outside or just sit in the sun. We have a great neighborhood to walk around with lots of ponds and trails. Sometimes we like to go to Standish Forest for an extra special walk. Later, we’ll go outside, have dinner, and lots of time for snuggling.

I am currently a biology and secondary education student at Bridgewater. During the winter break, I will have availability all hours on most of the days, including weekends.
